introduce:
Federal Intimidation transforms Fallout 4 into a dynamic system of threats, surrenders, and heists at gunpoint.
There are no additional shortcut keys, activation prompts or dialogue menus. Just aim, keep pressure on your target, and let the battle unfold naturally. Attack enemies from behind to force them to surrender at close range, or force wounded enemies to surrender in mid-battle. Once they surrender, you can rob them, make them run away, or knock them unconscious.
Not everyone reacts the same way. Some cooperate, others refuse or fight back. Your charisma, talent, positioning and your target's injuries will affect the outcome. NPCs also no longer ignore someone pointing a gun in their face. Threaten the wrong people, and a peaceful encounter can quickly turn hostile.
Different groups of NPCs hand over faction-appropriate loot, making each heist feel more natural.
Fully voiced dialogue using original Fallout 4
The mod restores and repurposes unused dialogue recorded by Bethesda, including player requests, heist responses, rejections, combat surrender lines, and requests for release.
No AI-generated voice lines are used.
The result is a seamless deterrence system that feels like it was originally a part of Fallout 4.
How it works
Federation Intimidation runs automatically during normal gameplay. No action is required.
Unlike the original talent, simply aim your weapon at an NPC and initiate a deterrent attempt when the situation warrants.
Stealth Heist: Approach unsuspecting NPCs from behind and keep your weapon trained on them. Pressured for long enough, they may surrender using the "heist" behavior of the original Fallout 4.
Frontal intimidation
At close range, NPCs may surrender when facing you. It's much harder, and a lot depends on your charisma, talent, and the status of you …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
