Install:

The mod can be installed and uninstalled at any point in the game. Simply download and install the main file first, download and install the required mods (see links below) for the add-ons/optional files of your choice, then download and install the optional files.

Introduction:

The thing I miss the most about the old Fallout games is the consequences, there is good and bad karma, and siding with a certain faction, or anything that pisses off certain groups, always results in some kind of punishment for the player. The base game does have some, but nothing compares to the feeling you get when you encounter a company of minions for the first time after leaving Megaton, or the first time you see a Legion squad charging towards you at full speed only to be slaughtered by them. Don't forget those damn NCR rangers. This mod is designed to bring that same feeling of fear and uncertainty you feel when you're exploring or on a mission in the wilderness, not knowing when or where the next killer squad will show up that you just narrowly survived.

Assassination Team:

The assassination team will appear in two waves according to the progress of the player's main mission.

First wave:

Killer squads appear at random encounter locations across the Federation, and may spawn on the same day or in the following days after a player has been banished or exiled by any major faction. Most of them will appear in three-person teams like "Fallout 3" (with exceptions), and are equipped with the strongest weapons and equipment of their respective factions. Hotspots are open roads, bridges and intersections, so keep an eye out every time you pass through these areas. player destroys master

After the base, they will stop refreshing.

Second wave:

These squads will begin spawning after the player destroys the main base. They're basically survivors or other members, either in the operation or in the event of their faction's demise, wallowing in the wasteland. With no supplies or places to resupply, they will be equipped with less equipment than their counterparts in the first wave, but still pose just as much of a threat, and are still very dangerous compared to other vanilla NPCs. They now also carry common wasteland weapons such as battle rifles, hunting rifles, assault rifles, and more, as well as their signature faction weapons. They also have the opportunity to equip rival factions with their signature weapons, such as laser rifles (Brotherhood of Steel), Institute rifles (Institute), Gauss rifles (Railway Gang), and more.

Gunner Strike Team:

As with the original mod, gunner strike teams will begin to appear after the player kills Captain Weiss.

Nuclear World Raiders:

NukaWorld Raiders will spawn in both the Federation and NukaWorld. Compared to factions in the base game, the Federation has fewer spawn points, but will spawn more frequently in Nuka World. The federation's spawn points are bridges and bottleneck areas.

Nuka World Raiders will spawn in two ways. The first is to be kicked out of the Big Boss status. Players will alternately advance to the open season when killing any famous northwest raiders or bosses. This will generate strike teams from all Northwest …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
