Recruit your own troops
2.4 Due to the requirements of the Cup and N Network, the author removed the Enclave voice extracted from Fallout 3. Here is a version 2.3.
The mod provides players with a radio through which they can recruit troops from five camps including the Enclave, Academy, Brotherhood, Volunteers, and Railways. Each unit has several classes of troops available for recruitment. After recruitment, you can follow players around to fight. The author said that the radio was in the backpack, but most people said that it was not found, but it can be crafted at the chemistry workbench or purchased from the camp merchant.
After recruitment, a task is generated to track the arrival distance of the troops, and you need to wait. There are different ways to arrive depending on the camp. For example, the Academy Stalkers use teleportation and have the fastest arrival speed. The Enclave and Brotherhood are transported by birds, and the Volunteers rely on legs (I strengthened the Volunteers to get them faster, but the author said they ran from the nearest patrol area, so wait slowly).
You can give orders to the troops, including team formation, location guarding, search and annihilation, formation following, etc. Soldiers can be dressed up. Some classes wear power armor, which they can take off but not put back on. Troops can also be recruited as residents: transferred to other settlements in workshop mode (required)
The combat effectiveness is very strong, even for the lowest unit, so unless you use other combat effectiveness overhaul mods, it is recommended to take off all their clothes and equip them with equipment yourself.
The test does not conflict with most mods and is the best version currently found among army mods.
NMM can be installed directly.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
