Fallout 4 Crimson

About this mod Machine translation
AMD users who updated their drivers with the latest Crimson driver reported an issue where their compasses started flickering and became unusable. An easy fix I found was to use a .dll file from the previous 15.11.1 driver to fix it while still maintaining the performance improvements of the Crimson driver.
Also, if the provided file doesn't work, here is the old driver .dll file.
I found some other possible fixes which are to force Vsync from Radeon Settings to the Fallout 4 profile or revalidate the file.
Other than that I can't really help, I'm posting this as a simple way to help others because I know this makes this game unplayable for most people and it will take AMD forever to fix their drivers. Sorry, I really don't know how these libraries actually get injected into the game and work. But you can ask around Guru3D for help, sorry but that's the way it is.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
