About this mod Machine translation

Update: 2 new versions available! F4CC-1.2 reduces the darkening effect of the original, and F4CC-Gloom produces a more desaturated, depressing look.

Fallout 4 Enhanced Color Correction (F4ECC) is a mode designed to improve the quality of visual effects in Fallout 4 without completely changing the appearance of the game. I love the bright colors in the vanilla game, but sometimes areas feel "washed out" and look a little bland. This mod expands the value range, making shadows deeper and highlights more vivid. Therefore, lighter areas feel more alive, while darker areas feel darker. Additionally, F4ECC subtly enhances certain colors. As a result, the shadows have extra saturation, and by introducing subtle red tones, the characters have more vibrancy.

Fallout 4 Enhanced Color Correction has the same performance as vanilla and can be installed like any other mod! No additional tools or executables required!

Try F4ECC and say goodbye to the faded wasteland!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
