Version 1.0.3

core

  • Added shortcut key gating behind HasAnyActiveFocus() to prevent accidental activation of the overlay when entering a search field or other interface input.
  • Added to sidebar to allow clearing plugin filters with one click.
  • Added equipment options for weapons and armor in the right-click menu. If the item is not already in the player's inventory, it will be automatically generated and equipped.
  • Item statistics have been redesigned, using a visual measurement bar similar to the Pip-Boy in "Fallout", covering weight, value, range and rate of fire, and optimizing a more concise metadata layout.
  • Added a built-in EditorID parser that scans active .esm, .esp and .esl files at startup, improving EditorID coverage in retail environments without the need for external caching.
  • Added backpack count tracking function to display the number of selected items currently owned by the player.
  • Added equipment status indicators, including the E badge in the item list and the status: equipment label in the details panel.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Select items to inspect" prompt remained visible after selecting an item.
  • Improved UI switching operations and reduced unnecessary ultra-light machine queue activity by avoiding repeated display, hide, focus and unfocus operations.
  • Added language translation support via RegisterTranslations API.
  • By replacing the file index search with a plug-in search based on TESDataHandler, the plug-in parsing logic has been improved, and the archive dependency problem has been fixed when records are overwritten by patches, affecting favorites, equipment configuration and shortcut bars.
  • Fixed keyboard input leakage in HTML search fields by filtering numeric keypad events.

Build and deploy

  • Migrate the build system to xmake according to PrismaUI v1.7 specification.
  • Removed legacy CMake build configuration.

Front-end and user interface

  • **In-Game Zoom Controls:** Added "+" and "-" zoom head controls to dynamically scale mod overlays.
  • **Shared Zoom State:** The scaling factor is persisted as a shared file ("f4_ui_zoom.txt") via the C++ backend, enabling instant scaling synchronization between all supporting modules.
  • ** Fix window borders: ** Set the "#app" container to screen-fixed to "75vw" and "75vh" so that only the inner elements scale when scaling (preventing the window from shrinking).
  • **Fixed context menu position:** Fixed right-click menu alignment when zooming by dividing click event client coordinates and bounds checking by the zoom factor.

Performance

  • **CPU Rendering CSS Optimization:** Expensive graphics properties (Box Shadow, Text Shadow, Background Filter, Transition, and Linear Gradient) were removed from the style sheet to comply with PrismaUI CPU rendering guidelines and significantly increase frame rates.
  • **GPU Scroll Acceleration:** Generalize .table-body, .panel-left__list, .panel-right__detail, and .loadout-list to composite graphics layers via "transform: translate3d(0,0,0)" and "backface-visibility: hidden" to prevent layout reflow when scrolling.
  • **Hover Transition Optimization:** Replaced the expensive "Transition: All" rule for interactive elements with a targeted transition, significantly reducing CPU redraw time.

Cleanup

  • **KeyHandler Thread-Safety:** Injected 'std::mutex' locks the input polling thread to resolve intermittent race crashes during hotkey registration.
  • **Number Keyboard Shortcuts:** Extended the "DIKToVK" mapping to correctly convert …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
