A simple mod that allows you to see nearby collectibles (bobbleheads, magazines, Nuka-Cola recipes) on the map while traveling.
Original address:
ESP and ESL versions have been uploaded. Choose one to install according to your needs.
About this mod:
A simple and lightweight mod that allows you to "discover" collectibles (bubble heads, magazines, and Nuka Cola recipes) while traveling.
For example, you enter Dunwich Borer with this mod installed, and a miscellaneous quest objective will point you to the exact location of the Amazing Stories magazine there. When you take away the magazine, the objective lens is removed.
Therefore, the mod will display collectibles when you discover or enter their location, not when starting a new game or installing the mod. This mod has no effect in your game until the item's location is accessed.
Note: Please do not let me know about other existing mods that make collectibles visible in any form. This mod can display the location of multiple collectibles at the same time. The target does not display the actual name of the item to make it more lore-friendly. No vanilla records are overwritten, so you can put this mod anywhere in the load order, it doesn't matter. No DLC required, just the base game. The mod can also find items added by mods and DLC at runtime.
Ability to reset and turn mods on/off:
Console commands to turn off/on and reset mods at will. (Don't worry, it will only reset the mod, not the item).
[CQF SC_Handler ShutDown] ===> Stop and close the module
[StartQuest SC_Handler] ==> Reopen the module
(when reset)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
