About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds 5 new explosive throwing knives to the game.
Chinese address:
Exploding flying knife
Now you can throw a dagger at your enemies and not only stab them with it, but it will also explode and cause AOE damage to anyone around it.
There are 5 different types of explosive throwing knives in the mod. Freeze (blue), Shard (orange), Nucleus (yellow), Plasma (green) and Shock (white). Each one deals normal damage like a grenade, but without the throwing arch. When you throw them, they move in a straight line from your character toward the target.
Exploding knives do not have any special animations or upgrades, and I (the original author Ragnarr1313, the same below) will not make any animations or upgrades for them. They are just basic grenades, dagger-shaped, that can be thrown directly at the intended target in a straight line.
Explosive knives can be crafted at the Chemistry Workbench and have their own list, so they should be easy to find. The recipes for each throwing dagger type are pretty much the same, but the main thing you need to craft each type is the type of grenade you want the explosive dagger to correspond to.
This mod is marked ESL so it won't take up any mod slots.
This mod is what it is and will not be modified unless it is a game breaking issue.
If you crash at the Chemistry Workbench while trying to craft a weapon, download and enable the Mod No More Legendary Screen, this mod will prevent the crash from occurring. Make sure you get the correct copy of the mod for your version of the game.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
