About this mod Machine translation
This MOD will allow you to travel with Dogmeat and a follower at the same time.
The author's reasons for making this MOD:
- Dogmeat does not have a separate emotional change and intimacy perk, its weight is much lower than other followers, and its output is much lower than other human followers even with the corresponding perks. This all shows that Company B did not treat it as an independent follower from the beginning;
- Dog meat does not affect the Lone Ranger perk;
- Other followers only interact when changing people, but for Dogmeat, other followers have quite a lot of interactions;
Known compatibility issues:
- Conflicts with multi-follower mods, such as Unlimited Companion Framework;
- Give me that bottle needs to rank esp after this MOD;
- This MOD does not support some modifications of Survival Option.
There are known bugs in the original game, which can only be solved by SL for the time being:
- Increase the chance of the follower falling from the sky and becoming disabled after fast travel;
- After Dog Meat becomes disabled in survival mode, the prompt "Dog Meat needs treatment" will not disappear even after being injected;
- The dog meat fell to the ground.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
