Energy weapons sound
This mod mods the Laser Musket sound (all 4 charges), Laser and Academy Rifle + Pistol (they share the same files), Plasma Rifle, Plasma Scatter, Plasma Sniper Rifle, Gamma Gun and Alien Shock Pistol.
The laser rifle sounds the same as my other mods, but everything else was remade from scratch.
I'm not happy with laser rifles, but it was a pain to create something that sounded like a laser rifle, but had to feel like it.
Install:
Normal ini editing is required.
(Mod Manager makes these edits for you)
Remove mod:
Delete files from sound/fx/wpn folder
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
