ENB base components (updated)
Basic pre-plugins for major ENBs in Fallout 4
About this mod Machine translation
Original address:
As the title states, ENB basic components are the basic front-end plug-ins for all major ENBs in Fallout 4. What I have uploaded is the latest (August 2024) v0501 version. It may not be updated in time in the future. I won’t bother to remind you if there is an update.
Update May 7, 2026: Updated ENBSeries 0.501 for Fallout 4, but did not change the version. Fixed enb SDK executing OnBeginFrame callback prematurely.
Update May 21, 2025: Updated ENBSeries 0.501 for Fallout 4, no version number changes. Fixed hotkeys not working properly in one of the recent Win11 internal updates.
Installation method:
- Download and install ENB basic components
- Install the ENB component: Place all files in the WrapperVersion folder except enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini into the Fallout 4 ontology folder.
- Download the corresponding enb module, such as reactor, quantum horizon, etc. and place all the files of the module in the ontology folder.
- After loading the archive and entering the game, press the Home button to open the configuration menu and make adjustments.
- Enjoy it).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
