Emergency Road Flares

Added emergency road flares to the game.

Currently only available through console commands. The project will be called "Emergency Flare."

Will add to the level list once I figure out how to make them last longer. Been trying for 2 hours, trying every value related to time, but nothing seems to work. I'm wondering if the timing is hardcoded into the flare animation itself. Any help or comments are welcome.

Only bugs seem to sometimes cause torches to fall from the ground. I don't know how to fix this, but thanks again for the input.

I didn't make the model. This mod is from Genaxx's glowsticks redux mod, found here:

I created the flare texture myself as well as all edits in the .esp.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
