Interior Navcut Fixes (optional but recommended, used together to make the construction process more stable):
Updated on October 15th:
Version 1.2
Added a few buckets to wipe away some of the dirt! (Abraxo recommended, but not required)
Near the Drumlin Diner (due southwest) there is a bunker with a forgotten facility underneath, waiting to be brought back to life by new residents. This mod introduces a fully customizable settlement where all furniture and lights are fully scrappable, allowing you to be as creative as possible in shaping the perfect base.
The facility's layout includes:
two bathrooms
Five small rooms, perfect as living areas or storage rooms
Master bedroom for your sole survivor
Well-equipped laboratory
Large office and conference area
Some smaller utility rooms, perfect for a crafting station or studio
As you explore, you'll discover notes left by former residents, which provide a brief but somber story that paints a picture of the bunker's troubled past. While there are no complete quests, scattered notes give depth to your surroundings, adding a touch of mystery and melancholy to the settlement.
Also hidden within the facility is the "Scientist's Folly," a unique weapon that is a relic from the bunker's past. While it's not the core of this mod, it's a valuable addition to your arsenal.
This mod should be very compatible with everything except some larger overhauls. This is a completely new cell and location, so unless a mod seriously changes the eye robot bunker near the Drumlin Diner, I don't see much reason for this to conflict with other mods.
Take control of this forgotten space and shape it to your will, every object and terrain is completely clearable, giving you the freedom to create a stronghold that suits your vision.
Closing Thoughts: Due to the nature of FGEP, there may be some slight concerns about this mod and the behavior of enemies in the area. This is due to an issue with some newly added Ghouls not performing well in the ambush furniture provided for Ghouls. While having this mod will not crash or break your game, it may cause some enemies to become unresponsive or clip outside of their map locations. Using the TCL or KAH commands may help resolve this issue. This issue has been reported to the mod author and that's all I can do for now.
Special thanks to Glitchfinder for quickly making a unique mesh for this mod.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
