About this mod Machine translation

Drug Lab and Distillery Drug Lab and Distillery

This mods lets you build crafting stations and decorations so your settlers can produce alcoholic beverages and drugs. Like plants, you can take them with you or add them to your settlement inventory.

These items can be found under Main Menu/Craft Packs. They require a lot of initial resources as well as local leader Lvl 2 and Chemist/Science Lvl 1, but it will pay off in the long run.

How does it work?

Similar to plants. Assign settlers to them and they will put items into your settlement list. You can also take them manually, such as harvesting.

I didn't get the items in the settlement inventory, but other food!

Answer 1: Make sure .esp is last in your load order. Many mods that add new foods to the farming list (eg: glowing fungi, fresh carrots...) interfere with this list.

Answer 2: Try not to place items in settlements where there are lots of various crops or where the water is pure. This reduces your chances of getting what you need. In reality, these workstations are nothing more than modified vanilla plants.

If you think other crop models are important, make them last in the load order, you can always get these items manually.

Animation looks weird

Yes. I'll try to adjust them but there's always the possibility of people standing inside the workstation. This is not a problem either.

Will you make more chemicals or drinks like Buffjet?

No, that's about it. Although medical supplies are being planned.

The resource requirements are too high, can you mitigate them?

No, it's actually a pretty hefty amount. Divide by 50 or 100 and you get the resources you need for a single project. You can cheat anytime...

What resources are needed?

It's too much to post, but when you look at a screenshot you can see what you're doing.

How does it work?

Similar to plants. Assign Settlers to them and they will put items into your settlement inventory. You can also take them manually, like harvesting.

Answer 1: Make sure the.esp is last in your load order. Many mods that add new food items to the farming list (E.g.: Glowing fungus, fresh carrots...) can interfere with this list.

Answer 2: Try not placing the items in settlements where you have huge amount of various crops or water purifieres. That lessens the possibility of you getting your desired items. In reality those workstations are nothing else than modified vanilla plants.

If you think other crop mods are important let them be last in your load order you can always take the items manually.

The animations look weird

Yes they do. I'll try to adjust them but there'll always be the possibility of people standing inside workstations. Also that's not a question.

Will you make more chems or beverages like Buffjet, etc.?

No that's about it. Medical items are being planned though.

The resources needed are too high, can you lessen them?

No that's actually a fair amount. Divide it by 50 or a 100 and you'll get the resources needed for an individual item. You can always cheat though...

What are the resources needed?

Too different and too much to post, but you can get a glimpse at what you are up to when you look at one screenshot.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
