Version 2.1 updated on November 20th:
- Minor tweaks and updates.
- Ploski Sanctuary now requires pre-war currency to save (as shown in the screenshot), as suggested by DerVampir. Thanks DerVampir!
Version 2.0 updated on November 16th:
- Massive polish and rework update! Still no clunky menu popups, just smooth conditional interaction prompts.
- Added distance check so player must be standing inside shelter to save.
- Added a one-second cooldown between shelter saves to prevent save corruption.
- Saves are now hard saves (i.e. manual saves) rather than automatic saves.
- General polish, examples include added "Save..." message to interactive HUD when player saves
- Saving now requires 1 bottle cap, which acts as a coin to insert into the shelter.
- You can now only save outside of combat.
What's this?
A mod that makes the Plosky Shelter useful
You can now seamlessly save your game in any Ploski shelter, just like you would save your game while waking up in bed in Survival Mode.
No ESPs. Powered by Robco Patcher. No manual editing required. Compatible with every mod that doesn't do the same thing. Install/uninstall anytime.
Why?
Because survival mode is great, the alternative and immersive way to save your game is great, and so are you.

Zzxyzz created Robco Patcher.
The original idea for FogZZZ was the Pulowski Shelter Save Point. No assets from the original mod are used.
I (the original author bp42s) did this because I really liked the idea, but I wanted an easier, more seamless way to save my game.
Loganbacca was used to create Sleep Or Save, which was the indirect inspiration for this mod and a staple in my load order.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
