Digital Nightmare is a complete music soundtrack mode for players who want dark, dangerous, atmospheric background music to enhance their Fallout experience. Perfect for survival mode, hardcore modding or any player who wants their game to feel darker and more foreboding. This music pack contains hours of original music composed by myself, specifically for Fallout. This mod replaces all vanilla background music and adds some extra tracks for exploration, dungeons and combat. Download the main mod file and choose your battle pack! (1) Heavy Industrial Metal (2) Weight Loss Movie (3) Electronic Technology............. or (4) Super Battle Pack! - Over 60 tracks, separated into a wide variety of tracks for low-threat encounters and more intense music for boss/legend battles.
Installation instructions
This mod does not affect existing save game files, nor does it change any radio stations or radio music. You can add/activate and deactivate/uninstall this mod anywhere in play.
Download the main mod file, then after installing the music mod download and activate one of the four battle packs. Just load the combat plugin after the main mod. Feel free to download all four battle music packs and switch between them by activating one at a time. Using multiple packages doesn't work.

Digital Nightmare - Unleashed (1)
Heavy industrial metal battle track, in my signature style. Specializing in guitars and industrial percussion instruments. Added extra industrial just in case! Combat option 1
Digital Nightmare – REM (2)
Film battle music, including strings, horns and war drums. With a little industrial sprinkled on top. Combat option 2
Digital Nightmare – Parasomnia (3)
Electro-Industrial Sci-Fi sound battle music relies heavily on Synth. There's also a little bit of industry for good measure. Combat option 3
Digital Nightmare - Super Suit (4)
A ton of combat music containing 62 different combat tracks divided into low and high threat encounters. 34 music tracks play when fighting less threatening creatures and mobs, as well as 28 intense tracks that can only be played when fighting legendary enemies or boss monsters! I hope the sheer size of this battle pack means there will be enough variety in the music to keep everyone happy! Feedback is always welcome (as this is a completely new idea and needs to be tested thoroughly)
Copy the Archive and ESP files into Fallout4/Data Folder. Then activate the mod using the mod manager. If you download and install the battle pack, it must be loaded after the main music ESP. Beyond that, ESP files can be anywhere in the load order. Do not use any other music modes or conflicts or a crash may occur.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
