Diamond City Security Expanded Dialogue (Chinese Update)
The expanded Diamond City Security Dialogue offers something new for Diamond City security officials. It uses speech synthesis (Tortoise TTS + retrieval-based speech transformation) to add new lines of dialogue in a way that should (hopefully) be virtually indistinguishable from the original dub.

Guards will now react to functions:
Game Style: As you play, additional statistics are tracked, such as drug use or pants exploding. When you stack up those numbers, security guys are going to have something to say now.
Clearing a location: When you clear a location in the Boston metropolitan area, security personnel may comment on it and may even congratulate you for it.
World State: Security will now comment on the current date, weather, etc…
IMPORTANT: See the expanded Diamond City Safe Conversations spreadsheet for a list of all new conversation lines and their associated conditions. There are currently 143 new dialogue lines available for two voice types of Diamond City security officers; GuardMaleDiamondCity01 and GuardMaleDiamondCity02.
This mod does not contain any script files, so there should be no issues adding or removing it during gameplay. Sets up new dialogue within its own mission, so it should work well with other mods that also affect Diamond City Security Officer dialogue.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
