Version 1.1
When implementing the use of Shipments, I did not create new settlement objects correctly, which resulted in vanilla turrets and generators starting to require Shipments for repairs. I've now separated them into separate entities: the turrets built using the vanilla recipe will function as usual, while my custom turrets need to be shipped for repairs and returned as goods for scrap.
To balance this out, all my recipes now require 2 shipments to build, 1 shipment to repair, and will return 1 shipment when scrapped.

The Federation is full of turrets, bullets, weapons: but where do they come from?
*Pre-combination has not been touched yet. *
Since the mod doesn't touch the pre-composition, it will only place the items and doors you can see in the picture in that specific location. They will only overlap if another Mod has resources in the same space. Internal units exist independently.
DC Fenway Munitions finally provides a legend-friendly answer by adding a fully functional gun and ammo factory to Diamond City. This mod expands the city with a credible industrial site that produces weapons, ammunition, and power systems for local defense and trade.
Fenway Munitions is not just a static location, but a dedicated vendor who sells a variety of weapons and ammunition, as well as transport-based crafting kits. While Bethesda often locks key items into Science! Wait for the benefits later, but this mod provides options for those who are not too smart. After all, players aren't the only smart people left in the world - so now, with the right caps in place, you can buy and deploy advanced tech without the need for high-end perks.
These goods allow you to build the necessary settlement defenses and infrastructure without requiring perks or original components. Instead, you buy a pre-packaged industrial kit, just like a real scavenger-turned-settler.
Available shipments include:
machine gun turret
Heavy machine gun turret
Heavy duty laser turntable
Fusion generator
Each shipment functions similarly to the vanilla crafting system, but bypasses perk and material requirements, making settlement building suitable for all playstyles—not just the tech-savvy.
With DC Fenway Munitions, Diamond City feels more alive, more complete, and more connected to the world it helps. It's not just a location mod - it's the missing piece of the Commonwealth's wartime economy.
Design concept and location selection
When choosing locations for DC Fenway Munitions, I focused on maintaining immersion and respecting the existing world layout. I chose the vacant lot next to Kellogg's house because it had always felt too bare and underused - perfect for an addition that made sense both visually and narratively.
In order to stay true to the setting, I studied the real layout of Fenway Park and compared it to the in-game geography. I found that the area roughly matched the area between Gates A and D (27 Jersey St, Boston, Google Maps), beneath the bleachers—in real life, this area included the food court and the pitched-roof structure built beneath the stadium seats. I've never been to Fenway Park myself, so I pieced together what I could from online videos and pictures.
This real-world reference helped me design a structure that feels like a natural extension of the stadium's original architecture. I incorporated existing Diamond City textures and structural elements to maintain a cohesive visual style, aiming to make the factory feel like it was built into a pre-existing space – something that had already been true before the war.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
