About this mod Machine translation

-describe-

There are a total of 18 turrets in this pack. There are 7 turrets from vanilla and 11 unique turrets.

This is how they work.

Use them:

They can be crafted at any Chemistry Station under the new category TURRETS.

They can be expensive and require some extra expense to build more powerful turrets.

Once crafted, they will be added to the inventory under WEAPONS and will act as mines.

You can equip them like mine, and when you're ready to use them, you can throw them like one.

fighting:

When you deploy them, they receive an ammo allocation from you for their use.

In fact, they consume ammo when shooting, they don't have unlimited ammo.

Of course, they will attack any attackers from the player, hoping to deal with them quickly.

When you have deployed a turret, you can run it and "activate" it, opening a menu.

Interactive menu:

Pickup - Removes the turret and returns unused ammunition. Turrets cannot be broken in order to be picked up.

Reloading - If the turret runs out of ammo then you can simply reload with another ammo allocation.

Repair - Turrets must be repaired in a damaged state, but all repairs are now free.

Cancel - Allows you to close the menu while doing anything with the turret. What a feature.

More on repairs:

When the turret is damaged enough, it will enter a shattered state. To allow it to continue fighting, or to return it to the inventory, it must be repaired. Just activate it (selected options will be lost, but still available) and select Repair. This will take a few seconds, but eventually the turret will start functioning again. You can also repair turrets before they are broken to quickly restore health. All repairs are now free.

Ammunition distribution:

As mentioned before, there are 18 different turrets, each of which requires a type of ammo and can use a different ammo allocation when deployed. Ammunition is distributed as the maximum you can load in one action, not the maximum it can hold. This includes deploying and reloading it. If you want to fill it with as much ammo as possible, you have to keep reloading it, even in combat.

Other notes:

Each turret is very heavy in your inventory, with more powerful turrets being heavier than the last.

If you deploy a turret and forget about it, it should persist and be recoverable long after deployment.

Companions and other NPCs cannot deploy turrets, so feel free to keep them with you.

You can install the AWKCR patch in the installer to make the turret available on Weaponsmith Workbench.

  • Turret type -

Here are the details of the different turrets:

Spotlight - No Ammo - Not technically a turret, but uses its light to track enemies. .38 Machine Gun Turret - .38 Round - Allotment 300 - A rusty, cheap turret that uses a lot of ammo.

Machine gun turret - 5 mm wheel - Assignment 300 - Light but fragile gas-powered turret. A good start.

Heavy machine gun turret - 5mm rounds - allocation 300 - a more durable, but affordable ballistic turret.

Laser Turret - Fusion Cell - Allotment 300 - The energy-based counterpart of the Machine Gun Turret.

Gamma Turret - Gamma Rounds - Allotment 100 - A jet of radiation that replaces lasers or bullets.

Plasma Turret - Plasma Cartridge - Allotment 300 - Plays a good balance of ballistic and energy damage.

Shotgun Turret - Shotgun Shells - Allot 100 - For a stubborn boyfriend, it's a full-on suicide rain of terror.

Assault Turret - 5.56 rounds - 300 allocated - for more firepower then your standard

Minigun Turret - 5mm Wheels - Allotment 1000 - If you saw my demo you saw what it can do.

Flamer Turret - Flamer Fuel - Allotment 1000 - A bit short range, but will help you burn extra fuel.

Cryo Turret - Cryo Cells - Allotment 250 - Also has short range, but anyone caught by this won't get very far.

Railway Turret - Railway Spike - Allotment 100 - Steam powered freedom and justice for all.

Heavy Laser Turret - Fusion Cell - Allot 1000 - If you have spare batteries, this will burn them quickly.

Gauss Turret - 2mm EC - Allotment …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
