Version 1.0.2 updated on January 6, 2026:
Fixed an issue where the report interface could sometimes not be closed.
The interface can now also be closed using the keyboard and gamepad.
Weapon names now display as full in-game names. You can restore the base name via MCM settings.
Another Chinese version of the address will be updated on August 8th, if you need to pick it up:

When a player dies, a death report is displayed with sections for personal information, death information, and combat statistics.
The Death Information section displays details such as the killer's name, weapon used, location of hit, and damage done.
Version 1.0.1 Update:
Added MCM with new options. In the death report click you can find "Show full weapon name".
By default, this option is enabled, displaying the weapon and its full game name.
If you wish to see the base name as before, you can disable this option in MCM.
Fixed typo in mod.
Tried shutting down the controller, but that wasn't possible, so the tip about pressing LT to shut down has been removed.
Are you using a mod that prevents players from dying completely and allows them to get back up after being knocked down?
In this case, the death report will turn into a defeat report, with additional combat statistics showing downed counts and K/D ratio.
If you don't speak English,
You can open ESP and translate the full name entry of the message into your preferred language. These terms will then be displayed in the UI.
However, some languages may not display correctly due to font limitations.
This mod is compatible with both previous and next-gen versions.
Although it is ESP, it has the ESL flag, so it is not restricted by the plug-in index.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
