About this mod Machine translation
Replaces the in-game corpses of Reavers and Super Mutants with a mesh of mutilated corpses (Gore Warning)
This MOD mainly adds corpse pieces to containers such as super mutant meat bags.
Replaced the container corpses of Reavers and Super Mutants with Mutilated Corpse Grids
**Bloody warning! Bloody warning! Bloody warning! **
I (the author, hereafter) really like the idea of the mutilated corpses mod, it adds an unsettling feeling when seeing all these mutilated corpses and the areas and interiors look more impressive; unfortunately I can't make it work for my heavily modded game and keep getting FPS drops, but I still want to use this mod somehow... So with my basic Bodyslide Knowledge, I decided to create an alternative version of the original game files, I'm not a designer, just a hobbyist, there may be some clippings on the grid, they are not perfect...
As an alternative to vanilla, there isn't much variety; if your system can handle it, I recommend using the original mod. Notes:
- Requires textures from the original module (MDB) (address:
- No ESP, just grid.
- There may be some clipping depending on certain areas, if you use a mod that adds corpses and uses vanilla assets, they will benefit from this mod.
- Even though all the game files have been replaced, some corpses still default to the original meshes, I don't know if there's something wrong with my load order or if there are other files that need to be modified.
I tried adding more stuff, like the super mutant totems, I added the corpses, but the game didn't recognize the changes, so I wanted to modify other assets as well; if anyone knows why, I'd be grateful. In the file, there are several modified assets, but the game doesn't recognize it and displays the mesh by default.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
