Preface: Tactical Reload:
Due to time constraints, the 2K version of the main files in BA2 format (packed, supports version 1.10.163) and loose format (Loose, supports next-generation version), as well as the ESP replacement file that removes TR requirements, have been uploaded together. You can choose to install according to your needs.

Why! ?
In early 2024, I (original author MsValerie, the same below) released a large Scorpion mod, and at some point I gave in to the pressure and tried to make a mod that I thought the community wanted, rather than what I wanted. It ends up being overshadowed by the silly drama in the other bs and it all feels like a wasted effort. This makes me very dismissive of it. However, the animations and models were too neat to let go, so just like my Shrike mod was to my Virtus, this was the Scorpion I originally wanted to release.
Something nice, fun and simple.

What a difference it makes! ?
It's just Micro, and again, it's independent. I once owned a Micro and it was my favorite model.
Smaller overall download size, some updated texture/mat edits and add-ons to make it different from the original mod.
- ESL is marked as ESP so it doesn't take up a mod slot. 2k and 4k options. Non-TR ESP available.
Also packaged for pre-NextGen users or unpacked for NextGen users (although one tester on NextGen Patch said the packaged version somehow worked for him?
- Sliding stock with sliding arm/unload animation, and folding stock with standard arming animation.
*I also added an extended stock and removed the sliding bone for those who like to take photos. It shouldn't break the pose now.
- 3 sights with 3 different combinations:
ACRO, T2 and 551 with Axon/Surefire light or Hydra/Surefire/NGAL setup. I do this to eliminate conflicting attachments.
- 3 charging handles
- 3 pistol grips
- 4 muzzle devices
- 4 foregrips
- Can be crafted at the Chemistry Workbench.
I personally hate mods that just add stuff to LL, so I didn't change them.
Color replacements have been removed because it's really just bloat and no one really cares about them so why bother.
Seriously, I'm into silly colors and I've learned that people just want a decent mod and the smallest possible size.

Additional information and questions! ?
My testers reported no bugs; I also tested this on my spouse's AMD PC using vanilla Fallout with no issues.
If you somehow find one, you can DM Drifter somewhere or find myself on Discord.
Comments about being taller than boring, log on to reddit and complain to all the other people talking about things they have no actual experience with.
Q: Thought you were dead.
Answer: Yes.
Q: Why are comments and content disabled?
Answer: I am antisocial.
Q: Why not make new weapon mods?
A: I made something new but haven't officially released it here yet because I couldn't find an animator to commission it from.
Also, flashing it into the smaller mod I wanted was a way for me to make peace with the original Scorpion release drama.
Q: Where are your M4 mods?
A: I was going to release it, but someone told me Fallout didn't need another M4, and then they started making their own M4 mutation mod. So I guess Fallout doesn't really need another M4.
Q: Why is there no power armor animation?
Answer: I hate power armor and have never used it in my 3k+ hours of gameplay.
But the real reason most weapon mods don't have power armor animations is because it breaks by default, is too much work t …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
