Updated on May 28, 2026:
Version 3.1.0
Change: Switched from Papyrus Common Library to Hydra as Papyrus Common Library is now deprecated.
After optimization: Removed Papyrus configuration file parsing and instead used Hydra's native ScriptFileCache to run the program.
Updated on October 5th:
Version 3.0.1
---Minor update ---
Optimization: Recompile in Release Final to further optimize the script.
Version 3.0.0
---Major Update---
Changes: Rewrote the mod from scratch and removed the MCM as it was unnecessary and inefficient compared to ini files. Mid-game updates are safe.
Change: Swap the ESPless version to use the Papyrus Common Library instead of the Papyrus Script Runner, since PSR is deprecated.
Added: New master file for all versions using Garden of Eden SE.
Overview
Allows you to customize your cl rim settings in game, made into an easy to install mod. Plug and play!
|
Your character's edge lighting setting is a lighting profile that applies to all NPCs. This setting allows NPCs to be easily visible in the dark. However, some may think it's too light, too dark, or just want to get rid of it entirely. Now you can configure it!

*No ESP | No original editing | Install anytime | Compatible with everything*
Specific
That's it. Again, you can adjust this setting live in-game in MCM.
|
Have fun!
Remark:
That's it. This mod pairs well with "darker nights" type mods.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
