Custom Remington 1875 Revolver

Version 1.20 (There are four versions of this version, please read on to find out which version to download)

Variant 1 (requires Nuka World DLC): Remington replaces Nuka World's Western revolver. This gun has roughly vanilla stats. 44 is not legendary. Additionally, legendary and overpowered versions (as mentioned earlier) can still be found in the bank vault of the Commonwealth Bank near Faneuil Hall. This variant is the one you get via manager download.

Download if... you own Nuka World and want a replacement revolver... you want the regular version and the powered version

Variant 2 (requires Nuka World DLC): The gun found in the bank vault has roughly vanilla stats of .44 (although it is still legendary). Western revolvers in the Nuka world are still being replaced.

Download if... You own Nuka World and want to replace your revolver, but don't use any overpowered weapons in the game

Variant 3 (no DLC required): Placing an overpowered gun as a unique weapon in a bank vault, Nuka World Revolvers remains unchanged.

Download if...you want the powered version of the gun while still keeping the vanilla revolver from the Nuka world...you only own the base game and want to get the powered version of the gun

Variant 4 (no DLC required): The normal static gun is placed in the bank vault as a unique weapon, Nuka World Revolvers remains unchanged.

Download if...you want the regular version of the gun while still keeping the vanilla revolver from the Nuka world...you only own the base game and want the regular version of the gun

Install:

Variant 1: Just download and activate.

Variants 2, 3 and 4: First download and activate Variante 1 (it contains all the main model and texture files), then download the .esp files for your preferred variant (under manual download) and overwrite the Remington.esp folder in the game/data folder.

Other changes since 1.11

• Added workbench components (Corroded Steel 'Finish', Chrome Finish, Maple Grip, Walnut Grip, Scorched Grip)
• Components now change gun stats (I know, there's no reason maple should grip better or worse than walnut - but whatever...)
• Very minor adjustments to the model to better suit the animation

I wish I could get the most blessings now with the different download options. I've more or less considered this mod now. Maybe I'll continue to work on materials and textures, I'm not entirely happy with them, but I'm taking my time now.

Silver handle and blue finish available for build on the workbench. These are cosmetic changes only, they do not change the gun's stats.

Version 1.00

This model adds the Remington Model 1875 to the game, complete with scratch models and textures. It can be found in the Commonwealth Bank safe deposit box near Faneuil Hall (see video 2). You need to become an 'expert' to access unencrypted door terminals. Another way to get it is to open a console and type "help remington 0". Note the item ID of the row where it says "WEAP". Then enter 'player.additem [fill in the ID without brackets].

The Remington is a unique weapon that can't be found anywhere else (there are Raiders, Gunners, Chests, etc.). Compared to the regular .44 (and most other vanilla weapons) it's quite powerful. This gun has no bullet sponge.

I added 'Custom' to the name because the original 1875 model had a fixed cylinder. Unfortunately, since I don't know how to edit Fallout's animation (I've barely got a handle on how textures work in this game), I had to use the default loading animation of .44.

Additionally, there are no modifications to the workbench and you must choose the Ivory-Nickle combination.
