Crouching makes it easier to stabilize your aim
F4SE plugin that reduces the amount of AP consumed when stabilizing aim while sneaking
About this mod Machine translation
F4SE plugin that reduces the amount of AP consumed when stabilizing aim while sneaking
Prefix:
Address Library for F4SE Plugins:
F4SE:
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019
Why:
I (original author GELUXRUM) recently discovered that the AP cost of steady aim does not decrease if you are crouching/stealthing; I find this odd since crouching has benefits elsewhere, such as reducing your recoil. So I did this to allow configuring the multiplier of how much AP you will use up when crouching via the .ini file. Just set this value to whatever you want and whenever you crouch, the AP cost will be multiplied by it. Everything is at the engine level, so it's almost like Bethesda did it themselves.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
