Installation Instructions: This mod uses an ESM file to help consolidate keyword usage across several of my projects, this ESM is provided in all mods that require it, so don't worry about overwriting it when installing.
This project started as a way to make sticker toys and turned into something worth releasing.
Add Uni Headset to AWKCR workbench. The headphones come in two main styles, worn on the head and worn around the neck. It also features some secondary variations to remove/change the microphone/antenna individually, as well as 32 possible color variations using chrome/matte paint, and finally it has 8 decals for both sides.
The AWKCR menu has multiple versions of the headset, each version using a different slot so that the headset can be worn with other items. As you build it, each version has its slot name in its description. (Slot 47 - Glasses are the only head slot that can be worn with Power Armor and will not remove hair)
As of version 1.01: Beret and Helmet are also in the HEADGEAR menu of the AWKCR armorsmith workbench. By default they use a vanilla mesh-like shape, take them to standard armorbench and change their style settings to switch to a headset-compatible mesh. Palette and indexed colors as well as decals are available for both styles for both projects.
Check the Optional Files section for additional ESP that adds headsets to the helmet level list for BoS and Gunner NPCS.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
