About this mod Machine translation

Author's words:

detail:

The Children of the Atom's blessing allows the Children of the Atom to pillage the deepest and most irradiated places of the Old World. So this gives them a lot of useful equipment, which they now use to fortify themselves against waste.

Added the DB-507 uniform, a restored set of military armor/coats/coats from pre-war times. The suit is worn by the new "Chosen of Atom" NPCs, who can appear in place of any level of Child of Atom NPCs. The armor makes these guys much tougher than the regular rag robes they wear in Children of Atom.

This mod has no overrides and uses a script to inject new items into the vanilla level list, it should be compatible with any mod using the same vanilla level list.

--DB-507 is a reference to the OG-107 and OG-507 nomenclature of U.S. Army uniforms used from the 1960s to the late 1980s.

--The hooded version of the coat is a switch you can access from the workbench, which uses some scripting tricks to cover the hair without wasting slot usage. You may need to re-equip the coat so that it covers your hair properly.

The female skin texture is CBBE based, CBBE skin texture is not required but recommended.

Main new feature: Master Skins!

There is a new option on the armor called "Master Skin" and when enabled, all 11 parts of the DB-507 suit will match the armor's skin. This means that if you want to try a new skin, you don't have to look at every part of the set and select textures individually.

Notice:

--The main skin feature requires a single instance of a single project to run.

--Example: If you have two (or more) coats in your inventory, the main skin feature will not reskin any of them.

skin:

All skins are 2k resolution and come with major downloads.

The 4k textures are available for free in this public Patreon post.

--Chance found on almost any random Children of Atom NPC.

--This mod uses scripts to add new NPCs that can spawn anywhere Children of Atom would normally spawn.

--The original "CoA Outfit" tiered item has also been updated with scripts so some non-hostile CoA NPCs can also have the set.

--Far Harbor CoA characters have the opportunity to use parts of the suit.

---This Mod does not require FH.

--Newly added enemy NPCs use the prefix "Chosen of Atom".

--Some parts are rarer than others, and the mask is the rarest (since most Children of Atom are immune to radiation, they don't really need the mask)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
