Take to the sky without that dreaded T-pose, stick to the ground with a jet-assisted dash, or find a nice middle ground with a nifty little jump booster. The CROSS Jetpack comes in three variants: Jet Sprinter, Jetpack standard and Jetpack Advanced. Make a basic Jetsprinter in CHEMLAB and upgrade it to more advanced versions. Additionally, if you have CROSS Pre-War Cybernetics, the jetpack upgrade will show up directly in Cyber Torso's mod list under gadgets/misc, eliminating the need to craft secondary items at all.
Jet Sprinter: Run with ease and significantly reduce sprint costs. Build up some speed while sprinting and jumping to get a huge increase in jump height.
Jetpack Standard: Jetpack doesn't have that boring and powerful power armor, it doesn't have all the features you love, and none of the hassle.
Jetpack Advanced: Combining the best of both worlds, Jet Sprint for medium gaps and Jetpack for high ledges.
If you want full functionality, make sure to update CROSS Cybernetics to the latest version!
Customization: Built-in 32 colors to paint the jetpack, plus two jet colors. If you use this mod with CROSS Cybernetics (v103 or higher), your jetpack can use the same textures/colors as your Cyber Torso.
Reminder: Screenshot auto-approval is always on for all my mods, show off your cute new gear.
Version Notes:
v.92 almost completely
Mod rebuilt to better fit Bethesda.net standards
--No more decorating frames to customize colors
-- Still has the option to hook into cybernetics
The cybernetic gadget mod now uses different materials than regular materials (still uses the same index, no workaround)
--When you first add a jetpack to Cyber Torso, a new mod category will appear in the armor-mod list
--Unfortunately, this will only show up as "Material" initially, but when you select the texture
will be updated to "JetpackTex". Cleaned up the VFX scripts a bit, hopefully this will resolve the crashing issues some people were experiencing.
Switch to the Ba2 archive and all files are placed in the data folder.
v.91
for v3 and vBos
Chrome textures added -- make sure to use (Jetpack)'s textures to ensure they are applied to the jetpack
-- Any dark or black color will produce the best chrome effect (vBoS.21)
By adding more sparkles and smoke
to improve the Jet visual effects - these are very subtle, compared to the original jetpack FX
The original chimney effect is a far cry from that of a standalone jetpack
Added some fall damage upgrades - 30/60% fall damage reduction at level two
Added palette texture to archive
--You still need CosmeticFramework to use color customization

Crafted at the Chemistry Workbench. Under Utilities. Color/size can be customized on any ARMORBENCH.
Alternatively, if you're running CROSS Prewar Cybernetics, the jetpack will be the Gadget/Misc upgrade for Cyber Torso.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
