About this mod Machine translation
Killer:
When the U.S. military first captured working Chinese stealth fighters, they focused on replicating the stealth capabilities, but with the visor components reverse-engineered by the Commonwealth Institute of Technology. Following the massive collapse and destruction of the CIT campus, the project was thought to be lost, but technology recently unearthed from within the institute has been rediscovered and the project has been revived. Named after the owl's superior vision, the Strigidae Visor can greatly enhance the wearer's vision in a variety of useful ways, from highlighting potential threats to target assistance.
detail:
The Strigidae suit consists of 4 unique parts: suit (underarm)/arm guards/visor/coat. Each part has its own customization, see the "Unique Models" section below for complete details.
By default the mod does not edit any levellists, but it comes with [settings] holotape which can be used to run script injection into the default list of levellists. If you already have a balance mod that affects coursers, or you don't want anyone else to have the Strigidae set you can drop the holotape. Once activated via the holotape menu, newly spawned Level Coursers will have a 50% chance of becoming Strigidae Coursers (can be male or female). Strigidae Coursers have the same level stats as their vanilla Coursers, but are more resilient due to better armor.
- Strigidae Suit will not be added to any level lists nor will any vanilla records be edited until holotape is used.
- After using holotape, any generic courser (generated by level tasks/lists) has a 50% chance of becoming a Strigidae Courser.
- After using the holographic tape, you can throw it away or you can recreate it on chemlab if you want to use it later.
- If you use CROSS_Cybernetics, you can make the full costume in the chemlab (or cybernetics lab).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
