CROSS Brotherhood Recon

The Brotherhood Recon Uniform is designed as a lightweight general purpose field uniform for long range reconnaissance patrols. Recon Uniform is constructed from new forged materials and salvaged old world materials, providing the unit with the ability to effectively integrate with the local population while providing ample protection against the many hazards of waste. Initially issued only to reconnaissance units, its effectiveness quickly became so egregious that it is now issued to more stationary units.

The Recon uniform has 6 optional parts, including: helmet/gas mask/visor/coat/gloves/armpits. Each part can be customized to a certain extent. See the "Unique Modules" section below for details on how to customize each widget.

As an added bonus, TheKite’s Recon Enlistment Poster can be earned by doing some basic BoS tasks and placed into the settlement system. In the checkout menu you can find Posters in Decoration > Wall Decoration > Miscellaneous.

This model is built with a vanilla male and CBBE female body in mind, but there is a vanilla female option in the file section. CBBE files are included in the main download and are used to build the preset of your choice.

While not required, I can't come up with enough of registrator2000's Crafting Highlight Fix. His F4se plugin will allow you to have color previews in the production menu.

balance:

Not having a unified piece that acts as "over-armor" means you can still wear normal armor like combat armor or even a coat (some breastplates can cause damage). There are ballistic braid slots under the arms and on the jacket, so you can wear braid and completely replace standard armor.

• Use a script to add the Recon uniform to the level list of Brotherhood NPCs in the world, without editing any vanilla records.
• The highest ranks and profiles of Brotherhood scribes and soldiers have the opportunity to spawn a variety of different parts.
• If you use CROSS_Cybernetics, you can make the complete uniform in the chemlab (or cybernetics lab).
• Search the console for "Brotherhood Recon" to get the loadorder unique ID.
