Overview:

This mod is a new DLC-like open world (similar to Far Harbor and NukaWorld) set in the tropical country of Costa Rica.

The goal of this mod is to allow you as the player to explore and experience a country outside of the United States and how the aftermath of a nuclear war could impact it without completely destroying it.

This mod adds a lot of new content while also keeping it as vanilla and lore friendly as possible.

Some important parts of this mod are-????️Settlements. While traveling along the winding roads, you might stumble upon a perfect spot nestled in the bush that could definitely use a little work but would make a great home away from home. ????radio. This mod comes with its own radio station that plays 9 songs in total; all unique, from famous Costa Rican songs to Spanish versions of classic Fallout songs.

☠️Pirates. Raiders of the Fertile Coast, manufacturing and exporting drugs across the country and robbing locals of their land to set up camps and expand their gangs. While certainly more advanced than the old-school pirates who sailed the Caribbean, they still have a thirst for murder and riches. ????Wild animals. While Costa Rica is a great place for tourists to see the extraordinary creatures that live in its jungles and beaches, 200 years after a raging nuclear war, these creatures may now just want to tear you apart and leave you for dead. ⚔️Fight. Unlike typical Fallout games that take place in the United States, the guns here are few and far between. While fighting off enemies wielding machetes and barrel revolvers may sound like a piece of cake, once your barrel is empty, be prepared to get creative, as ammo isn't that common in this part of the world. ????explore. There is a lot to explore in this breathtaking world, the map consists of: jungles, beaches, volcanoes, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, pirate camps, abandoned buildings, inhabited towns and farms, beautiful terrains and more.

Manual installation instructions:

After downloading, open the "FalloutCostaRica.zip" file from the download folder

Move the contents of the zip folder to your Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data

(If prompted, click Yes to replace the file in the destination)

Open your mod manager, navigate to your addon and activate "F4CR.esp"

Mod Manager Installation Instructions

Use your usual mod manager, select the compressed package to install directly as usual, and set it according to your personal preferences.

After installation, a new location will appear in the southeast corner of the main map. Go there and confirm to enter the content of this mod.
