Costa Rica (updated)

Costa Rica is a DLC-like open world experience that allows players to explore a whole new place inspired by the country of Costa Rica. You might think it's the perfect getaway from radiation, but hidden beneath those 200-year-old travel brochures is an unforgiving jungle willing to tear anyone who sets foot on it into pieces.

Overview:

This mod is a new open world map to explore based on the tropical country of Costa Rica.

The goal of this mod is to allow players to explore and experience a non-American country and how the aftermath of the Great War affected it without completely destroying it.

This mod adds a lot of new content while keeping it vanilla and lore friendly as possible.

Some important parts of this mod are -

pirate. Raiders of the Rich Coast, manufacturing and exporting drugs across the country and looting locals' lands to expand their gangs. While definitely more advanced than the old-school pirates who sailed the Caribbean, they still have a thirst for murder and money.

wild animals. While Costa Rica is a great place for tourists to experience the creatures that live in its jungles and beaches, 200 years after a raging nuclear war, these creatures may now just want to tear you to pieces and leave you for dead. Good luck.

fighting. Unlike America, guns are few and far between. While fighting off enemies wielding machetes and tubular revolvers may sound like a piece of cake, once your barrel is empty, be prepared to clench your knuckles and roll up your sleeves, as ammo isn't that common in these parts of the world.
