Companion Heather 2.7

About this mod Machine translation
Version 2.7
New Feature - Settlement - Heather can now be fired to settlements.
-She can be dismissed to her default location or settlement.
-If she is assigned to a settlement, she will not respond to the transponder.
-When assigned to a settlement, she will make random, repeatable chatter, such as singing, but will not make other types of comments, which only occur when she follows you.
-She can also be assigned in Settlement Simulator 2. Thanks to Choochoo1 and fftfan/XV-Versus for asking me to do this, and for testing and troubleshooting to get it working.
Compatibility features:
Talents: Added all three levels of adamantine skeletons for Heather so that mods don't render her quadriplegic, causing her to drop weapons. Thanks to everyone on 4estGimp's discord who made me aware of this issue and pointed me in the right direction to fix it.
Barter Inventory: The script to add DLC items to her trade inventory does not work properly. fixed.
Dialogue: If you let Heather sleep on the bed, she will talk while sleeping. I have adjusted the contents of her bunker and her chatter so that she no longer talks in her sleep. Thanks to Zivers for spotting this important oversight and letting me know about it.
Conversation: Heather's Far Harbor convos didn't always work for players in her chat menu, so I moved them to her greeting and they don't seem to break. This was handled by the extra esp in v2.6, but has been folded into this update.
Dialogue: Fixed greeting not leading to dialogue and exiting.
Dialogue: She repeatedly delivers her lines in the entrance hall of the World's Vault Tec attraction. fixed.
Dialogue: When she tells the player that she likes/likes them, even though they are a synth, the player's reaction plays too early and happens before she has finished her line. fixed.
Dialogue: She has one silent line in the Museum of Witchcraft and Wizardry and another in the Cambridge Polymer Laboratory. fixed.
Dialogue: Added a line about her not trusting Nick, which plays until you enter Nick's office as part of MQ.
Dialog: Fixed conditions for each row.
Dialogue: Fixed subtitles for individual lines. Thanks to everyone who reported this to me, especially Lively who hates typos <3
QUEST: Into The Fog rarely fails when the player takes Heather to Far Harbor, so I made a few script changes in hopes of getting it working anyway.
Missions: Added a failsafe to the seaside bunker door, so if the Honeymoon mission objective does not trigger when the player reaches the island, but the player goes to the bunker, the objective will be set there and the bunker door will unlock.
Quests: Added conditions to the "Talk to Heather about Dima" objective in Into The Fog so that it doesn't show whether you have already decided Dima's fate.
QUEST: Into The Fog rarely fails to put the tea that Heather promised the player into their inventory. I tried to make it stronger. I'm not sure why it might fail, so hopefully what I've done will fix the problem. If you fail in the mission, you can add tea in the terminal.
Terminal: Added ring convo to the affinity quest section, so if you complete the romantic affinity in the terminal it will also complete the ring convo and provide the honeymoon quest.
Terminal: Added a completion option to the "Heather Bleedout Monitor" quest so that players can complete it to remove it from the quest log.
Terminals: Removed a flag that sometimes caused strange visual effects when building terminals in settlements. Thanks to Nartaga and emiral on the Collective Modding discord server for pointing me in the right direction so I could fix it. Teamwork ftw.
Prerequisite: Requires all DLC
The companion location is as shown in the picture, located near the cemetery

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
