About this mod Machine translation
Known issues:
- The power armor headlight does work but in 3rd person the light is generated from the feet, not sure why but I'm fixing it
Overview:
What originally started as a small project to add some new armor to the game, and I knew the modding ropes had quickly developed into much more than I originally expected. There are now plans to add 4 or 5 equipment sets, including 5+ armors\suits, 10+ helmets\masks, multiple wearable weapons, new enemies to fight (and soon new places to face them), and even brand new Power armor. All are composed entirely of vanilla assets and are fully compatible with AWKCR and Armorsmith Extended out of the box.
All of these can be crafted under the RAIDER category of the Armorsmith Workbench and now thanks to the fantastic work of Gambit77 they can now be found under the new SCAVVER and GUNNER categories, while the weapon attachments have now been moved to the Weaponsmith Workbench
Once GECK is released I do plan to add these to custom factions with new enemies, allies and vendors as well as some creature types to go with the different gear types. Already at work!
Current set:
Techpriest\Tech Freak: As of now, 2 armors, 2 helmets, 1 visor and a backpack
Engineer: Now has 1 outfit and matching Power Armor set
Gunner: 1 piece of equipment, modular armor parts and 1 helmet
new! Beastmaster: There have been 3 entries so far, but Scorpion Hunter is complete and available!
The Grave Robber: 1 set with modular arm parts, 6 new masks and 1 hooded mask
new! Gladiator: As of now, only 1 helmet, available in 3 sculptable sizes
Accessories are a sniper on the back, ME-type double barrels on the lower back, .44 on the hip and a grenade belt on the chest. There are many combinations and I already have other additions in the works.
Install:
Whether using NMM or MO2, if you do this manually, just drag and drop it into the data file.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
