Visor (opaque): +1 DR, +2 ER, cannot be used with a full-face helmet.
Inner cover (pads and straps)
Neck strap: Standard vanilla inner cover.
No Strap: Remove the strap. -0.2 weight.
Unpadded: Remove the inner cover completely. -0.5 weight.
Known issues
I'm not good at UV mapping, so the chin guard is low resolution compared to other parts.
Modifications will not block equipment slots. That requires separate armor. So you have to remove the cutout glasses or bandana yourself.
Texture clipping lines seen on world models do not exist on first/third person models. I just left it there because I was tired.
compatibility
Not compatible with mods that change the ARMO or ARMA record of combat helmets.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
