About this mod Machine translation
1.8 requires Wasteland Workshop! If you don't have it, just use 1.7a.
This model adds eight transformable variations of industrial wall sconces, spotlights, street lamps, high-tech lamps, wasteland workshop lamps and hanging bulbs. They come in basic red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, warm white and cool white. There are also six variants within the four main models of the high-tech lamp and spotlight tower. This means there are a total of 118 new lights starting from 1.8. You can achieve many subtle color variations by combining them.
You must make a Bright Ideas magazine in your ChemStation in order for the lights to appear in your menu. You can remove the light from the crafting menu by removing it from your inventory. All new lights will appear at the end of the Lights category. If you update from 1.7 or earlier, your street lights will disappear.
Wall sconces and ambient bulbs have a larger radius and softer falloff than vanilla, making them more suitable for ambient rather than harsh spotlights. Point lights have a small radius and maximum attenuation, illuminating only a very bright small area. The street lights are quite large and moderately focused. The spotlight (currently only horizontal) and the spotlight tower are narrow cones that cast shadows. The high-tech lamp has a unique light that fades from white to any color you want. (If you have a mod that edits vanilla tech lights, they may or may not look weird.)
100% compatible with Homemaker, Settlement Keywords, Alternate Settlements and all other mods. Do not edit vanilla assets.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
