The guide is added to the player's inventory once the player leaves Vault 111 for the first time (or immediately if the player has already passed that stage).
By clicking on a guide, the player can choose to start the associated quest or remove the guide from his inventory.
Once the mission has started, clicking the guide again will provide the option to stop the mission permanently.
If all related tasks are completed, the wizard is automatically removed from the inventory.
Each associated mission provides map markers to find its objectives.
WARNING: Because the way target screen updates work cannot be modified, it is recommended that after you choose to launch one or more guides, you allow all target screen updates to appear before performing actions that may trigger the screen message. It is okay to launch multiple guides at once, as this mod manages its own screen update messages.
However, triggering screen updates unrelated to this module while the guide's initial target update is still incomplete may cause the following temporary visual issues: some target updates may be queued and appear the next time a screen update is triggered by anything.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
