About this mod Machine translation
Simply delete the static cloud so that it is no longer placed as an object in the world. Still kept in the weather.
Introduction
This mod will remove all distant clouds on the horizon in outer world space. This is achieved by setting all placed cloud objects to initially disabled, meaning they are still present but hidden from the player's view. This ensures maximum compatibility and allows weather and other mods to still use the assets. While this is largely a subjective change, it eliminates various unsightly visual effects, such as the uncanny nature of static clouds and their ability to clip into the surrounding landscape.
compatibility
This should be highly compatible. There are no known conflicts. Pre-composition and visual previews remain unchanged, and no records are deleted or moved. Cleanup in xEdit.
Install
Drag and drop the mod's contents into your game's "Data" folder.
Then activate using the mod manager of your choice. Alternatively, install directly through Mod Organizer 2.
The ESP and ESL versions have been packaged and uploaded together. You can choose one of the two to install according to your needs.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
