Classic Shelter Outfit Pack
Introduction
Today (August 20, 2019), after about 4 months of completion, I (original author TheFriedturkey and HcG x Grill, the same below) finally released my Vault costumes. I thought it was time to release them. This includes all the old style Vault costumes from Fallout 3. These are pretty old meshes but still decent and I've had a lot of requests to share them so I'm going to have a look, I put a lot of effort into these and some aren't the most detailed but I learned a lot about how to use these for substantial painting and getting a PBR workflow (although Fallout 4 is spec/glossy).
These can be obtained by crafting them at the Chemistry Workbench and you can use the Armor Workbench to modify the numbers on the back, you will also give me a surprise and put in ;)
Not much to say as it basically does what it says add to these shelter sets and enjoy.
Features
- Supports complete disassembly
- All Vault Outfits in Fallout 3 (Vault Suit, Armored Vault Suit, Tunnel Snake Jacket, Lab Coat, Vault Security, Utility Vault Suit)
- Every Vault number mentioned in every Fallout game
- Some special extras ;)
This module released 2.0 update on December 28, 2021:
All artwork has been remastered and updated.
All Vault outfits now correctly have the Vault keyword used in dialogue.
The main body has been packaged, the patch that does not replace the Shelter 81 number record and the Chinese version have been packaged and uploaded together.
Chinese source (maybe the wrong version but it should still work):
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
