This mode changes the ambient music that plays during exploration/dungeons/etc., changing it to iconic tracks from Fallout 1 and 2. Please note that this mod does not replace any default sound files, it adds its own unique music entries and makes changes to the playlist in universal locations.

I wasn't a big fan of Inon Zurs' performance of the "Fallout" soundtrack and felt it didn't quite live up to the classic's glory; so I did just that. Great.
For all fans of the original, those who are missing a certain "Fallout feel" and those who want to try something different.
Specifically, you'll hear Fallout 1 and 2 music as you explore the wasteland, instead of Fallout 4's default soundtrack. I tried to choose tracks that fit the general mood of the environment (e.g. urban areas have slightly different songs than regular wastelands, which are different from dungeons etc.). The audio levels of all songs have been normalized to fit the default Fallout 4 soundscape.
Please note that battle music, special tracks that occur during scripted sequences and songs that play at certain points in the main mission all remain unchanged, this mod only affects the general ambient music.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
