About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds the "Classic" Super Sledge from previous Fallout titles to Fallout 4. It features scratch meshes/textures, some custom sounds thanks to DRLAZLO and custom scripts thanks to Kayomn and Vicyorus.
Available now for PC and XBOX ONE at Bethesda.net.
After receiving some very ignorant comments from people who were too lazy to read the basic file descriptions, I had to simplify this disclaimer regarding the 2 separate files available for download:
ESL and ESP versions of this mod are available. ESL files will not affect your mod limits, but some issues related to load-order may occur if you don't install them correctly. If possible, use the Mod Manager and make sure to delete any previous versions of this mod before installing this version. If you face any issues with the ESL version, remove it and install the ESP version.
I am not responsible if you fail to follow these instructions and run into problems.
This mod has 7 add-ons:
Tenderizer: Adds two heavy duty spiked plates, these are super nasty and can help you soften your enemies.
Stopsign: Adds a stolen STOP sign to the hammer, giving you the opportunity to quickly disarm enemies.
Buzzsaw: This monster transforms the Super Sledge from a Hammer into a portable Buzzsaw capable of slicing through any face.
Branding: This one is pretty self-explanatory, plus a blazing US Army Star weapon for burning those who are out of touch.
Discharger: This experimental attachment will stun your enemies and give them the chance to create an EMP explosion that temporarily shuts down nearby robots.
Bottlecaps: Add two oversized novelty Nuka-Cola bottlecaps to the hammer and a successful kill will attract your enemies with (fake and worthless) bottlecaps.
Mjolnir: This one breaks the lore (who cares) by letting you imbue the weapon with Odin's own power, and a successful critical hit will add a throwing hammer to your inventory that can be used to stun and damage enemies. For balance reasons, you cannot store throwing hammers, nor can you have more than one throwing hammer in your inventory at any given time.
Back from New Vegas is a variation on the popular "Oh Baby!" Super Sled. She's a little rusty, but she still has an average swing, so that means you might find yourself launching your enemies from afar. It can be found within the "Forgotten Church" in the Glowing Sea, and good people know its ultimate end in the Commonwealth.
Use a script to inject weapons into Fallout 4's tier list. Once the player reaches level 10, it will start spawning certain enemies and vendors. Arturo in Diamond City or hunting super mutants would be a good place to start.
Some renderings and a 3D viewer are available on my Artstation page.
If you have any questions/suggestions or bug reports, please let me know so I can make the most of your feedback. This is my first mod, so (hopefully) everything will work fine.
Again, huge love for asXas, TheRizzler1 and the others I've already mentioned. Without their help and support, this model would not be possible.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
