Classic Remnants are back! Added a new set of power armor based on the classic Remnants APA from New Vegas and Fallout 2.

Classic Remnants Power Armor is back! The original mod has been almost completely recreated and improved upon! Armor's models and textures have been extensively improved, making its appearance more representative of its original appearance in previous games. On top of that, several systems have been overhauled to prioritize customization and improving users' quality of life.

Advanced Power Armor Mk. 1 is the standard armor issued to West Coast Enclave soldiers. Its design is derived from the pre-war X-01 prototype power armor we saw in Fallout 4 and 76. In this regard, it can be considered its spiritual successor. After the Enclave oil rig was destroyed, many former soldiers fled into the ruins with their armor on. The APA Mk. 1 was eventually replaced by the APA Mk. 2, as seen in Fallout 3.

Install

Before installing this mod, you need to completely uninstall the original Classic Remnants Power Armor mod (note: this is the version released in March of this year). If you haven't installed it yet or already know how to make a clean save, you can skip this step.

Load your game and save manually, then close the game. Disable the above-mentioned mods in your mod manager of choice, or delete the files entirely from your Data folder. Load your game again, enter the inner zone and wait/sleep for 48 hours. After this, do another manual save and close your game. Now you can install this mod

How to get

After the player reaches level 30, go to the Dugout Inn in Diamond City and look for new notes near the "WANTED" poster.

This quest will lead you to the southwestern edge of the Glowing Sea, near Vault 95. Your quest marker should point you to the NPC wearing power armor. After killing him, be sure to pick up his holotape and read it. The second task should start immediately after the first task is completed.

Alternatively, you can use the console or spawn in your inventory using the item extractor.
