describe:

Wreck Power Armor returns to Fallout 4! Also known as the Advanced Power Armor Mk. II, it is the standard power armor provided to West Coast Enclave soldiers. It was also the successor to the X-01 armor, a pre-war prototype developed by the Enclave and never mass-produced.

The Advanced Power Armor has been completely redesigned to better resemble the X-01 armor, now looking like a more advanced(er) version. To keep the game balanced, this armor is functionally identical to the X-01 armor, but legendarily it is stronger.

Obtain Powered Armor:

In order to obtain the power armor, you must complete a short Creation Club style mission. When you reach level 30, head to the Dugout Inn in Diamond City to pick up the new note next to the "WANTED" poster.

This quest will lead you to the southwestern edge of the Glowing Sea, near Vault 95. You'll find NPCs in that area. Be sure to pick up his holotape after killing him.

NOTE: He is very strong, be prepared.

Alternatively, you can use the console or ESP extractor to generate armor.

Tesla Update:

Tesla update adds...Tesla Armor! Wow!

At Power Armor Stations, Tesla armor can be crafted as a modification of existing Remnants armor. They replace existing Tesla coil modifications and continue their effects. They require a level 4 science trait to craft. Each Tesla armor adds +5 damage and radiation resistance, for a total of +30 when all pieces are equipped.

Note on visual bugs with Tesla Armor: During testing, I determined that most of the bugs with Tesla Armor are caused by vanilla bugs, and fixing them is beyond the scope of this mod. To resolve any visual issues, just enter the armor. If push comes to shove, saving and reloading the game should also resolve this issue.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
