About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds a cassette tape to turn survival mode content on or off. Allows full fast travel, removes overweight damage, carrying weight penalties, and turns on automatic and timed saves. Allows adjusting the refresh time of vanilla game areas.
Just use the Ringbreaker Tape under your Miscellaneous to turn on/off most survival difficulty settings.
There will most likely be some bugs in these modifications because I used some scripts that survival mode won't use. If you encounter any problem, please let me know and I will solve it.
However, this MOD will not harm your save, because if you have any problems with the game, you can use the reset button of the tape to restore it to the original settings.
Update log:
v1.2.1 - Fixed damage and default recovery
v1.2.0 - Fix bugs where possible, add custom damage settings
v1.1.0 - Fixed scheduled saves, added settings to remove drug penalties (thirst, etc.) Fixed an issue that caused the tape to not be enabled if opened before leaving Shelter 111, just save/load again to add it to your backpack
This MOD does not include the function of opening the console, nor does it have manual archiving
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
