Based on high technology salvaged from space relics, the Charge Pistol is a powerful electromagnetic weapon designed by Wasteland Gunners. It's perfect when your sidearm needs to be able to take down the biggest mutant abominations.
The Charge Pistol is more complex and rarer than the Zap Gun, and uses the scarce 2mm EC electromagnetic round. You can have a 6-round revolver magazine configuration, which is slower and requires recharging but does more damage, or an 18-round drum magazine, which doesn't require recharging but does less damage. There are a bunch of barrels and other accessories that I'll let you try out.
If, like me, you wish there was more variety in the pistol class, there's now a new chunky hand cannon in the wasteland. boom!
It is integrated into weapons vendors' tiered lists, as well as into some Gunners and Railroad Agent inventories.
As a bonus, I also included a Gauss Grenade, which will also spawn after the player uses the Charge Pistol.
They will start spawning at level 32.
There is a unique variant, located in an old government building that houses dangerous ammunition. In the nuclear bomb silo (that is, the cement pyramid in the Luminous Sea), you can overlook the room where all the nuclear bombs are.
Unique variants cannot be modified - this is for balance.
Custom animations, custom models, sounds and textures.
2 animation sets (one-handed or 2 with foregrip)
3 Grips and 2 Stocks (Quickshooter or Rifleman)
If you're lazy and don't want to loot/craft/buy it: you can type this to find the right weapon form: help charger 4 weap then player.additem xxxxxxxx
at last
-I recommend you set fov to 80.
-Third person power armor animations are just gamma gun animations. They mostly fit, but don't look as good as other custom animations.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
