About this mod Machine translation
- -describe - -
This is a simple replacement for the color gradient files used by the game to control hair color in the game. I made the colors more natural and at the same time more vibrant.
I sampled the colors in a real image of the hair in Photoshop and merged the selections of each color to show the average color in the hair to serve as a baseline for the new hair colors added by this mod.
- -compatibility - -
This mod is not compatible with any other mod that changes hair color.
This mod is compatible with mods, adding new hairstyles, Tweaked hair mesh and more
- Require -
As of V2.1, this mod requires the latest version of the LooksMenu Customization Compendium and comes with the latest update (v10).
- General precautions -
Please note that the images I post in the gallery may not be entirely accurate and may be from previous versions. If I make significant changes, I update the image, but if I just make changes to the gradient, I don't update the image.
--Photoshop files available for download -
You can download the source photoshop files I used to create this mod. With it, you can adjust the color to your liking. Simply download and unzip the .psd file to get started. When finished save the file as a BC1 dds file, without Alpha, with the Intel® Texture Works plug-in for Photoshop and place the file in textures\Actors\Character\Hair. You will find this file under the Optional Files section.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
