introduce
This mod adds a pair of beautiful thigh-high boots, ported from artist Prefox's work on Daz3D, with full 1k textures allowed and requested by the creator:
This is my (original author Prefox, the same below) first costume creation in FO4, and I have taken full advantage of my ability to use it. Hope you like it :) Don't be too quick to give some advice if you like.
Content included
Boots with basic armor lining options and their CBBE's BS file for building your shape. It gives you +1 to Charisma, and some slight boosts to physical, poison, energy, and radiation resistance.
Note: The original work on Daz also included 10 additional sets of 2k + 4k textures, but if possible these will remain unchanged until further notice from Prefox.
Module installation
Since it is a high heel shoe, you will definitely need to install the high heel system first or it will sink into the ground. Then, install the mod by extracting everything to the data folder/using your favorite mod manager.
How to get
Crafted at the Chemistry Workbench under the "Vertigo High Heel Boots" entry.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
