About this mod Machine translation

This mod adds 4 new robots to the Automatron DLC, the classic Mr. Handy & Gutsy, the classic Protectron, the classic eyeball bot, and the Securitrons, all based on their designs from Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Securitron is a new robot for Fallout 4, featuring a new custom skeleton, animations, and artwork.

Prerequisite: Automatic (robot) workshop

As shown in the picture, there is a set of robot packages inspired by the robots in 3 and NV. There are not many eye-catching things in the community these days (I guess they are all preparing for Halloween). It just so happens that no one has distributed this package before and the quality is good, so I posted it during the weekend.

Capital Wasteland Robot Pack 1

Introduction

This mod adds 4 new robots to the Robot Workshop DLC, Classic Mister Handy & Gutsy, Classic Protectron, Classic Eyebots and Securitrons, all based on their Fallout 3 and New Vegas designs. Securitron is an all-new robot crafted in the style of Fallout 4, with a new custom skeleton, animations, and artwork designed around the robot crafting system in Fallout 4 so you can customize them at the Robot Workbench. You can also find all of these robots in the Federation Wasteland map, with special Mechanic, Rust Demon, and vanilla variants.

The Securitron blueprint can be found in the Mechanic's Lair (i.e. after completing the Mechanic main quest).

Known issues

The following are some known issues, we (original author HcGxGrill - TheFriedturkey) will give reminders

  • Not all parts are interchangeable with the original as some animations and arm positioning were not designed with the original Fallout 4 robot in mind, that being said we have done our best to add as much customizability as possible.

Features

  • Added classic variants of robots, with robot figures from Fallout 3 and New Vegas, which can be crafted at the Robot Workbench.
  • Will spawn around the world alongside vanilla bots and autonomous bots.
  • All paint color options in the Robot Workshop DLC are available on Classic Robots and Securitron.
  • Have "utility" skins for protectors such as firefighters, police officers, buildings, etc.
  • Mr. Handy's has the Mr Gutsy skin as well as some classic DLC-related skins such as Enclave and Mr Orderly.
  • Added new weapons for robots using classic designs.
  • Added a new travel vendor named "Vendo-tron" who sells robot modules and starts traveling on the Federation map after the completion of "Mechanical Menace" (DLC main quest).
  • New workshop attack type.
  • Tons of face options for the Securitron screen, including some old favorites.
  • Securitron's new animations and skeleton are faithfully reproduced.
  • If the face is set to Muggy (the little coffee cup facial robot in the picture), he will do special Idle lines and animations, and you can also exchange coffee cups for scraps with him.
  • The dogmeat face on the Securitron has special Idle lines...well bark

Install/Uninstall

  • After installation, please wait for the installation message to complete before trying to make a robot in the Robot Workbench
  • When uninstalling, make sure to remove any added mods from any bots you may have, then run the "[UNINSTALL] Capital Wasteland Create-A-Bot" holotape and follow its instructions.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
