Update: Update:

To familarize myself with FO4Edit I remade the mod and now there are four separate camo pattern stocks in the game as weapon modifications (there is now an esp included in the mod). (The esp file is also added accordingly)

That means you can now choose ingame which pattern to use (or you can also stick with the vanilla stock). You can now choose ingame which pattern to use (or you can also stick with the vanilla stock).

Installation:Installation method:

Follow thistutorial to enable esp.Follow this tutorial to enable esp.

✲Annotation: You don’t have to do this at all. Just install it directly with NMM. Of course, decompressing the domineering data is also easy ´_>`

Old Version: Old version content:

To familiarize myself with the new texture formats and PBR I made these camouflage retextures of the tactical hunting rifle stock. I made this material replacement mod for the purpose of learning textures and PBR (physical rendering).

I was worried at first after reading some early experiences from Photoshop users, but with Gimp IT JUST WORKS(TM).

Normalmap has been modified to achieve a rough grip texture. Normalmap has been added to achieve a rough grip texture.

Specularmap has also been modified to give metal parts a more metal like reflection (I just raised PBR's "metalness" parameter a bit) and to reduce reflection for the grip (lowered PBR's "roughness" parameter to reduce reflection, sound contraproductive but "roughness" is actually smoothness in Bethesda's textures). A specular map has also been added to make the material more visually reflective. (The original physical rendering was not satisfactory)

Some may consider my modifications of the specularmap a bit primitive and exaggerated. I agree with them, but hey it's my first take on PBR. I agree with them, but come on, this is my first work.

Installation:Old version installation method:

Unzip one of the archives into your Fallout 4 Data folder.

Append "TEXTURES\" to the "sResourceDataDirsFinal" line in your Fallout4.ini file. Add TEXTURES\, MATERIALS\, MESHES\ under sResourceDataDirsFinal in Fallout4.ini.

Translator introduction

To put it simply, the so-called painting means adding several different modification options to the original shotgun stock. The added attributes are the same as the original marksman stock (non-painted).

So you can rest assured. It’s still very balanced.ww

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
