About this mod Machine translation
Added Brotherhood Field Manual to Federation! Find 6 new magazines with custom perks, unique lore-friendly details, and distributed throughout the game world.
The standard version and the bloodless moderator files (including BA2 and component formats) have been packaged and uploaded together. You can choose one of the two to install according to your needs.
Updated Chinese address on October 3:
Brotherhood Field Manual - New Magazine -BOS - Brotherhood of Steel
Find 6 issues of Brotherhood Field Manual scattered across the Commonwealth.
A new magazine series with custom perks, unique lore-friendly details, and full distribution throughout the game world.
I (the original author TurntLogic, the same below) have prepared two versions for download.
(1) Complete - A complete retexture containing all features.
(2) Bloodless - Same as above, but without blood.
See pictures for more details.
BFM can be found at fraternity-affiliated locations. Keep an eye on Brotherhood bases, facilities, and Brotherhood members, living or dead.
BFM offers a new perk, Iron Knight: Permanently reduces the damage of Feral Ghouls, Super Mutants, and Synths by 2% per book (12% overall).

FAQ
Q: Did you make any changes to the original magazine?
Answer: No, this mod only adds content. Existing magazines and books are not affected.
Q: Did you make any changes to the game world while making this mod?
A: No, the only thing I do is put out new magazines. No new furniture, rooms or cells have been added to the world and the mod has been cleaned up in FO4Edit.
Q: The X mod conflicts with you, can you make a patch for it?
A: I'd be happy to take a look, but there's no guarantee.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
